Progress & Reporting
At Aspenshire International School, we deeply value the partnership between parents and educators, recognizing it as a key ingredient in a child's academic and personal growth journey. We actively foster this partnership through various channels, ensuring that parents are well-informed and actively involved in their children's learning experience.
At the onset of each academic year, we host orientation sessions tailored for new families, providing them with essential information to ease their transition into our school community. These sessions are repeated termly to welcome those who join us throughout the year. Additionally, in August, we organize informative evenings for all parents. These gatherings offer a chance to meet the class teacher, gain insights into year group routines, upcoming events, and expectations.
Our commitment to an open dialogue extends beyond scheduled events. We operate an open-door policy, encouraging parents to meet with teachers at mutually convenient times throughout the year to address any concerns or queries they may have.
To celebrate and share the progress and achievements of our students, we invite parents to join us for open mornings held each term. These mornings provide a delightful opportunity for children to showcase and celebrate their learning experiences.
Furthermore, we organize formal Parent-Teacher Conferences in September, February, and June. These conferences, aligned with the publication of Mid-Year and End-of-Year reports, allow parents to engage in detailed discussions with their child's class teacher. Together, they review the reports, discuss individual progress, and collaboratively plan for the next steps in the child's learning journey.
At Aspenshire International School, we ensure that parents remain informed, engaged, and empowered partners in their child's education, every step of the way.
